Introduction to commonly used bearing materials
GCr15 refers to a high-carbon chromium Bearing steel with a small alloy content. After quenching and low-temperature tempering, it has high hardness, uniform structure, good wear resistance, and high contact fatigue performance.
GCr15SiMn steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium bearing steel with higher wear resistance and hardenability than GCr15 steel. The critical quenching diameter in oil is 90~110mm (volume fraction is 50% martensite). After oil cooling quenching at 840°C, tempering at 350°C, and then light quenching, the surface hardness is as high as 1096HV and the depth of the hardened layer is up to 1mm. In view of the shortcomings of the heat treatment process of the forming roller, pre-cooling at the thin edge is used to cause non-martensite transformation to produce troostite or troostite, enhance toughness, reduce stress, and then overall quenching to meet process requirements.
20CrMnTi is carburized steel, which is usually low carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.17%-0.24%. It is often used to make transmission gears in automobiles. It is a Cr Mn Ti steel among medium-hardenability carburizing steels. Its hardenability is high, and it especially has high low-temperature impact toughness when hardening is ensured.
SIAI440、304,316、440C are stainless steel material. It is a kind of steel material that is not easy to rust. It is a kind of metal material. It is a kind of alloy metal material that has both corrosion resistance and rustlessness. When we use stainless steel material to produce combined Bearings,we use SIAI440 to produce outer and inner rings, and rollers. But we choose 316 material to proceed Stud.
